Wurstbowl 2010 - New



The Cougars started off slow with a turnover and mistakes which lead to two quick scores
by the Unicorns. The Cougars vowed to not have history repeat itself; so it was off to
the field for battle.

Halftime score: Canyon 7 - New Braunfels 17

With less than 2:00 minutes left on the clock and the Cougars trailing by a score of 24-19 the
Cougar offense took the field and marched the ball down the field with tough running and
an aerial attack leftover from last years offense. It came down to one play with 8 seconds
on the New Braunfels 1 yard line, the handoff went to Tanner Hill with a tremendous
push by the offensive line and the ball game was over. The game winning touchdown run
was denied and the Unicorns won the Wurstbowl.

Final Score: Canyon 19 - New Braunfels 24

Volleyball team in Seguin Tournament

The Varsity team will travel to New Braunfels High School on Sept. 3 and play matches against New Braunfels and Corpus Christi King.
